Document details
This test summary describes electromagnetic field (EMF) measurements conducted on two infrared heater models - the Spectrum+ and Spectrum Carbon - for Finnmark Designs saunas. Key points:
Testing was done on December 5-6, 2019 in Tempe, AZ.
A Narda EHP-50F Electric & Magnetic RF Analyzer was used to measure EMF levels.
Measurements were taken at 3 positions for each heater, using 3 bandwidth settings (100Hz, 200Hz, 3800Hz).
All measurements were compared against the ICNIRP Occupational 2010 Test Limit.
Results for Spectrum+:
Highest reading was 1.1708mG at 60.06Hz (Position 3, 200Hz bandwidth)
All other readings were below 1mG
3800Hz bandwidth readings were all below 0.1mG
Results for Spectrum Carbon:
All readings were below 0.6mG
3800Hz bandwidth readings were all below 0.1mG
All measurements for both heaters were significantly lower than the ICNIRP Occupational 2010 Test Limit.
Both heater models passed all test conditions.
In summary, the test demonstrates that both the Spectrum+ and Spectrum Carbon heaters produce very low levels of EMF, well within safety limits for occupational exposure.
