Close your eyes and picture an electric sauna heater.  Chances are you’re thinking of a Harvia KIP, or similar design.  This is a simple, very reliable heater with fast heat up times. We’ve learned that most sauna kits, heat guards, and apartment saunas design around the Harvia KIP so it fits just about anywhere.

The Stainless Steel Harvia KIP is designed with safety features like a protective stone guard, dual wall construction, and UL Listings.  Don’t try this, but the integrated heat shield is so effective you can safely touch it.

The Harvia KIP has an external temperature sensor for more control and accuracy, allowing you to spec the best location for your room.  That alone can make all the difference in sauna performance, especially in barrel or other irregularly shaped saunas.

The KIP is has industrial-grade heating elements that are included in the Harvia warranty and stand up to regular sauna use.  Sizes include 3KW, 4.5KW, 6KW, and 8KW with built-in controls or a wall mount Xeneo system.  We’ve found the 8KW Harvia KIP can outperform many 9KW electric heaters in heat up time and max temperature.
