Narvi

Narvi Oy is a Finnish stove maker, and every heater on this page was designed, engineered and made in Finland. What separates a Narvi in a hot room is stone mass: the NC 16 holds 110 pounds of rock, the Narvi 30 holds 143, and the Narvi 50 carries 220. Narvi credits that stone volume for an even bath, and the NC fire chamber is shaped for a cleaner, more efficient burn.

We carry five Narvi stoves, all wood-fired, from the Kuru 14 for 283 to 494 cubic feet up to the 50 kW Narvi 50 for 1,589 to 2,472. The NC is the one that leaves here most often. The chimney is the question buyers bring us on a Narvi: the flue is a 4.5 inch European size, and the Narvi pipe adapter steps it to 6 inch North American pipe. Call (844) 565-1113 and we will size the room with you.

Narvi questions

What size Narvi heater do I need?

Take the room in cubic feet and adjust it the way Narvi manuals do: multiply by 1.5 for log walls or a sauna that sits cold between uses, and add 2.62 to 4.92 cubic feet per square foot of uncovered glass, brick or concrete. The NC 16 covers 283 to 565 cubic feet, the NC 20 covers 353 to 706.

What chimney does a Narvi stove need?

The flue outlet is 4.5 inches, a European size, and it leaves the stove from the top or the back. The Narvi pipe adapter, part 304-128646, is a two-piece interlocking stainless adapter that brings you to the 6 inch double-wall pipe US building suppliers stock.

Are the sauna stones included?

Stones are ordered separately on every Narvi. Stone capacity runs 77 pounds on the Kuru 14, 110 on the NC 16, 132 on the NC 20 and the Kaamos 20, 143 on the Narvi 30 and 220 on the Narvi 50. Narvi split-face stones are olivine diabase, 4 to 6 inches, packed 44 pounds to a box.

What ships in the box, and how long does it take?

Each stove ships by freight with its installation and operation manual and a 2-year limited warranty, and we quote 10 to 14 days to the door on an in-stock model. Firewood goes in at 13 inches, and the installation base has adjustable legs for a sloped floor.
