A whole room of patterned wood is a lot. One wall of it, behind the benches or facing the glass, is the move: the honeycomb catches the light while the flat cladding around it stays quiet, and your sauna looks deliberate instead of decorated. Hive Aspen is cut from natural, heat and humidity-resistant aspen with the raw grain left showing, so it sits comfortably next to the aspen and thermo-aspen boards most of our customers already run.
What’s in the box
Six wall panels, installation instructions, and a 2-year limited warranty. Each panel measures 29 inches wide by 12.5 inches tall and about 0.6 inches thick, covering 2.2 square feet; the full box covers 13.4 square feet.
Why it holds up
Every panel is CNC-machined, so the interlocking edges actually interlock: panels join like puzzle pieces and the finished face shows wood, not screws. The aspen is PEFC-certified from sustainably managed forests. Skip harsh cleaners and abrasives; an occasional coat of a sauna-safe wood oil or wax keeps the surface looking fresh.
Planning the wall
