People buy sauna light strips too long. A run that overshoots the bench it is hiding under puts a bright tail on the wall at each end and gives the game away. Measure the timber you are lighting behind, then buy the strip that ends inside it. In most two-person and corner benches that is this one.
Dotless
An integrated diffusing lens sits over the full run inside an anodized aluminium channel, so what reaches the room is a band of light instead of a line of points. In a small timber box, point sources bounce off the boards and throw hard little shadows off every edge. The lens is what stops that.

The control is separate and required
Dimming runs through Bathology’s Spectrum 360 control system. Without it you have an on and off light. Add the Spectrum 442 dimmer and the adjustment is continuous.
Longer runs
If you are lighting a full-length bench, step up to the 48 inch or the 60 inch. Multiple short runs on one dimmer usually beat one long run in an L-shaped room.
