I got to enjoy sauna sessions in a tent equipped with this stove at Sauna Days over this past weekend. The heat and the loyly (steam) were surprisingly good. And the unit is si incredibly portable. Thoroughly impressed with the build quality and the performance for a truly portable sauna stove.

It really depends on the size/type of your firewood and the ambient temperature/wind conditions when trying to estimate warmup time. Also the target temperature.  At 40°F it will likely take ~20 mins to achieve a sauna temp of ~180°F.  But again it depends on the wood type/quality/quantity you are using.  Overall, an average sauna warmup time is 20-30 mins.

The amount of logs is completely dependent on the size of wood you are using. A 0.75 cubic foot bundle from the store will last 1.5-2 hrs.

It is always wide fire safety to remain with a fire until it is completely out.  Whether that means waiting for it to burn out on its own or you putting it out, is up to you.

Yes, there is a low vent and a high vent on the stove wall.  The low vent has to be opened during operation.  There is an additional triangular window that can be opened to control the temperature and airflow.

The tent does come with a carrying case.  The stove does not, but the pipe goes in the firebox and there are two handles for carrying.

Do you know anything about the cooldown process? Can you put some logs in, sauna it up, and then leave and the logs will burn down and the fire will go out by itself? Or do you have to put out the fire?

How many logs will it go through each time?

This stove is fantastic. Easy set up and take down. Gets up to temp fast and maintains easily. 220° no problem with below freezing temps outside. Easy clean up. Zero regrets.
