Solid Douglas Fir is hung in a Hemlock jamb at their Sauna Craft Center in Minnesota, with insulated dual-pane tempered glass and self-closing hinges. The rest of the line is the inside of the room, made in Estonia, Canada and Finland, so the wall cladding, the bench boards and the corner trim can all be matched in one species.

The prehung Douglas Fir door in the 24 by 80 size sits in a 25.5 by 81.5 inch frame and wants a 26 by 82 inch rough opening. The 24 by 73 all-glass door frames into 27.5 by 75.5 inches. Both arrive prehung, so you are setting a finished unit rather than building a jamb.

How much wall does one roll of ProSaunas sauna foil cover?

One roll is 48 inches by 80 feet, which is 320 square feet, and that is enough for an 8 by 7 by 8 foot room. It is pure aluminum, a Class I vapor retarder, and it reflects up to 97 percent of radiant heat. Tape every seam, then furr out a 1×2 air gap before the cladding goes on.

Which ProSaunas light kit goes under a bench?

The universal kit ships as one 16 foot strip or two 10 foot strips, 3,500K warm white at 99 lumens per foot, sealed to IP67, powered by any HUUM, Harvia or Saunum heater with external controls or by a standard 110V outlet on a switch. The dimmable kit is rated to 200°F, runs on 24VDC, and dims to 1 percent.

Cut 4 inches. Both the fixed grille and the adjustable hatch fit over a 4 inch hole, and the hatch mounts flush with pin nails over a 4 by 4 inch pass through. The hatch face is 11 by 5.2 inches, the grille 5.9 by 7.5. Put the intake low beside the heater and the exhaust high in the far corner.
