PROSAUNAS Thermo-Radiata Pine 1×4 T&G STS4 Wall Cladding has a warm, deep brown tone and a grain that reads quietly across the room, then shows more character as you get closer. It creates a luxurious, moody sauna environment without feeling heavy.

It is the closest ProSaunas counterpart to Thermo-Magnolia in overall mood. Thermo-Radiata Pine brings more natural movement and occasional knots, while keeping the rich, design-forward look that makes Thermo-Magnolia so distinctive.

Designing with light

This wood changes dramatically with lighting. Warm indirect light under benches or behind backrests brings out the brown tones and soft grain. A focused wall wash adds depth without flattening the room. Used thoughtfully, the result can feel completely different from a traditional pale-wood sauna.

Why thermally modified Radiata Pine

Thermal modification uses heat and steam to deepen the color and improve dimensional stability. The process reduces the wood’s tendency to absorb moisture, helping it resist swelling and warping through repeated sauna cycles.
