Only available with a Cozy Heat heater purchase. We do not offer these stones as a standalone catalog item. Split-face stones bring a rougher, quarried texture to the visible cage. Both styles are olivine diabase intended for high-heat sauna use.
Order from the exact heater, not a generic bag count
The current Cozy line calls for roughly 220–397 lb of stones depending on the exact 12 or 18 kW model. Heater-and-stone packages list the box count assigned to each option. For a heater-only purchase, match the model’s required load before deciding how many boxes to buy.
Load for airflow and full coverage
- Wash stone dust off before loading.
- Keep stones snug around the stove body so hot metal is not left exposed.
- Leave the top looser and keep the flue path open.
- Rearrange the stone field at least yearly and replace fractured pieces.
Cozy’s current manual and accessory page publish different stone-size ranges. Use the size and loading instructions supplied with your exact heater rather than blending those two documents into one number.
