I wanted stiff bristles and a long handle- the bristles are perfect the handle could be an inch or so longer- but it is well made and a sturdy handle (i have broken a handle on the other ones bought elsewhere and those also have a plastic part for the bristles- this is just wood and bristle. Nice!! (I just changed from four to five star-even with the slightly shorter than ideal for me handle- one stop for all sauna needs, excellent customer service- I don’t remember if the overall length was in the description)
