Why Sauna Shield?
Hot air naturally rises, so as the sauna heater heats the air it rises directly upwards to the space above your heater. When it encounters the metal heat reflector, it will heat the metal surface. The metal, in turn, will conduct heat and warm up. As the metal heats up, it will radiate heat back into the room, and the warm air will flow down along the walls and into the lower part of the sauna. This convection process will not only create a continuous circulation of warm air within the sauna, but will protect the ceiling of your sauna from prolonged exposure to excessive direct heat.
